Just go and brag at Matrix forum. This is Maybank here , DUMB! Matrix is not giving out 5% dividend every quarters. Combined full year dividend is below 6% . Dumb!
you can't differentiate between show off and sharing knowledge ? many posts here are show off e.g. I sold all and earn million bla bla. this one is show off. if this you also don't know differentiate and do investment is really good luck.
tedious. I found you very funny. I also mentioned capital a, means capital a is my favorite too? lolollloll XD your interpretation skill still room for improvement . good luck
Well, everyone decide on their own risks. I have bought Maybank since January 2021, and I'm satisfied with the returns. Most importantly, our investments should be based on our own research and not by following others' footsteps. Maybank attractiveness is dividends. Buy or sell , it's your own decision.
If the KLSE remains as dull as this, it is then prudent to invest in high dividend stock only like Maybank. Others low or moderate dividend stocks are just not worth it.
Public bank dividend is low, and capital appreciation is not that great. My average price is at 4.27. I'm still at a loss. Maybank stock price may be slow, but the dividend makeup quite a different. .
Often I find it strange that ppl would buy a relatively high price stock and sell them at relatively slim profit. For me, I wouldn't even consider buying if my aim is after a measly gain.
Lower interest rates mean more borrowing because it's affordable, especially for home ownership. Compared to US and other's regional banks , Malaysia rates are among the lowest. In the event of a rate cut in US, the interest rate gap will narrow with Malaysia. And that's a chance for local currency to rally. Just my personal opinions. Best of luck trading
then people shouldn't say opr increase bank earn more profit. or vice versa.
anyway, I'm just brought out this topic to let people know that opr increase or decrease actually not really significantly impact the bank profit. there are other factors influence the banks profit. thats it. Good luck.
And banks also have their own analysts. When they anticipate BNM will lower OPR in the near future. They will position their FD rate in a very “funny” way. So that, if tmr BNM lower the OPR, no depositor will enjoy high rate for 12/15/24 months tenure.
End of the year book closure reports. Funds need to adjust earnings and sometimes dispose of investments to cover yearly dividends. Is common practices
