KUALA LUMPUR, 14 May 2025 – MCE Holdings Berhad (MCE), through its wholly owned
subsidiary Multi-Code Electronics Industries Berhad, has signed two Memoranda of
Understanding (MOUs) with Cheling Smart Mobility Technology (Wuhu) Co., Ltd and Wuhu
Atech Automotive Electronics Co. Ltd. to support the localisation of Chery Malaysia’s
production.
The MOUs were signed during Chery Premier Supply Chain Synergy Day, held at Malaysian
Investment Development Authority (MIDA) headquarters here.
The partnerships will see the parties working together on several key areas, including the local
production of automotive parts and components, the transfer of technology and technical know-
how, and ensuring compliance with Chery’s rigorous quality standards.
Now, Chery Malaysia has announced via a Facebook reel that it's offering the Omoda E5 at RM98,818 - an incredible RM48k off!
Just like the earlier RM27k drop, this deal should cover 2024 models only, and you'll take home an AC wallbox charger worth RM3,500, a vehicle-to-load (V2L) adaptor worth RM500, plus RM1,000 charging credits.
