财经周刊《The Edge》引述消息报道，ECRL项目的主要承建商中国交建（CCCC），在今年2月底公布招标详细资料后，共发出超过十份竞标文件。
东海岸铁路 ECRL
据悉，这条长达25.14公里的D阶段工程竞标者，分别是杨忠礼机构（YTL，4677，主板公用事业股）旗下的建筑臂膀杨忠礼建筑、WCT控股（WCT，9679，主板建筑股），以及持有Pestec国际（PESTEC，5219，主板工业股）61.39%股权的Dhaya Maju基建（亚洲）私人有限公司（DMIA）。

另有消息称，此次工程竞标的建筑成本上限为20亿令吉。
