I had friend that keep buying the rubber stock when it goes down and told me it helps to average down the purchase price.

There is no right or wrong but some stock is useless to average down. It is the major investor or broker telling you just like they keep saying you haven't loss.. Just paper loss.. That's bs.. Paper loss is lying to ourselves only.. No emotional if not right just cut loss and sell
