You calculation is right. Based on the past historical and I believe the coming Q result will close the gab. Not sure why so many investors are so worries.
EPF recorded RM27.70 billion of investment income for the first quarter of 2026. So EPF is flush with funds for which part of it could be used to invest in the Bursa stock market. In other words, it is good news for YTL.
Accordingly to what has been updated by ytl boss, their plan is to payout 10 cents per year, but due to the recent expansion plan...its only able to retain 5 cents dividend or maybe 6 cenrs. You can wait and see for the result.
Doc M, this time YTL is boost by one off special gain. However, YTLP is outperform in UK wessex Water and Ranhill, and lower profit in SG operation. So only able to submit neutral result for this Q but it will getting better in coming Q due to higher power selling price in 2Q 26.
