Iran don't have to close the Strait of Hormuz. Iran just give warning, who ever want to cross, will receive a bomb except China. You come cross, I come bomb. It became highrisk, insurance company don't want cover. So now it is no more different between close or no close the Strait of Hormuz, it depends on ships want cross or no cross
