This counter beside give dividend. nothing to look ady since ady at matured stage of business. How much they earn, How much they declare the dividend. Sales sure got up and down and sure 1 day will up back. this is the cycle and pick the right time to buy. It is reasonable to give dividend if they not plan to expand their size of the company.
@Consultant88, total net profit of the year is RM 2,061 mil, excluding the one-off gain and the special dividend, the net profit from core business is still at RM1,158m. Without considering the one-off gain next year, if the net profit maintain at range of 950m–1150m, the minimum dividend yield will still be 6%
and I believe 950m is already the worst case scenario. It will either be maintained or increase in the future. If you are a dividend investor, you will know what that means
全年 net profit 2billion,减掉不看 one off gain 900m,全年 net profit 都还有 1.15 billion,payout ratio 70% = dividend RM0.12 per annum,相等于 7% DY
昨天 IDSS 的人都已经亏到脱裤了,今天一大早还有人在继续 IDSS 卖空 sime,这些人是傻了吗?..... 不看财报的吗?.............. 7% 股息,那么高的股息,你要怎样做空?..........
The income is recycle in every 7-10 years due to car lifespan. good luck those bought RM1.58-1.68. no more cheap collection after this. BYD sales will going to surpass other brand too due many good news like CKD factories in Tanjung Malim to boost customer confident, price cut and other new models.
the QR result is consider bad for me......
no need talk about selling car segment, because they are playing well in this market and revenue is quite stable
but for the australia part, the performance drop was so bad......
Petaling Jaya, 27 November 2025 – Sime Darby Berhad (Sime) reported a net profit of RM355 million for its
first quarter ended 30 September 2025 (Q1 FY2026). This was lower than the corresponding quarter of the
previous financial year (Q1 FY2025), which benefitted from a one-off gain from the disposal of Malaysia Vision
Valley (MVV) land. Nevertheless, the Group maintained a stable underlying performance despite ongoing
market headwinds. This was supported by sustained revenue of RM18.03 b
the growth in the car segment was offset by the decline in the industrial segment.
Why I say the QR result is considered bad for me?
Because the growth in the car segment has most likely already reached its ceiling, there is no room for further expansion.
And yet, the MYR continues to strengthen, which will further affect the industrial segment to drop more, offsetting revenue and leading to weaker results in next QR.
But in term of dividend return, it is still attractive for me, so i will still collecting slowly
