The EKVE section from Sungai Long to Ampang
covering 92% of the highway is now scheduled
for completion by end of FYE 2024 and will begin
generating revenue, while the overall completion of
the remaining Ampang to Ukay Perdana stretch is
scheduled for completion by FYE 2025.

The completion of our flagship East Klang Valley Expressway ("EKV
project remains the Group's single most important priority. The cash
crunch caused by the pandemic and coupled with the rising building
material prices created a perfect storm which severely impacted
our ability to proceed with work on EKVE. However, we have since
worked hard to secure additional financial support from our main
lenders as well as the Government to enable us to restart work and
thus complete the EKVE project. Once completed we can begin
generating the much-needed revenue via toll collection to improve
ash flow and ease our current financial position
