Petang tadi saya bersama YB Choo telah mengadakan lawatan secara mengejut ke tapak pelupusan sampah Tanah Merah, Port Dickson. Kami telah meninjau kerja-kerja pumulihan landfill serta WTE Plant yang baru siap dibina dan masih dalam proses "testing and comissioning". Saya dimaklumkan oleh Cypark bahawa mereka sedang berusaha 24 jam untuk memastikan operasi WTE dapat dimulakan dalam beberapa hari lagi. Semoga segalanya berjalan lancar agar krisis sampah dapat diselesaikan dalam masa yang terdekat.
