IPOH (Sept 22): Implementation of the National Digital Network (JENDELA) plan in Perak will involve the construction of 171 new telecommunication towers and upgrading of 1,754 communication transmitters.

Perak Youth, Sports, Communications and Multimedia Committee chairman Khairul Shahril Mohamed said the JENDELA plan will also involve providing fixed-line fibre optic access to 252,475 premises in the state.
