Lol...Share consolidation happens, while the market cap is remains...why need to worry...? In a positive outlook, this will eliminate share manipulation, leading less volatility.
If the management successfully make debt restructuring, why not take a look at this counter..?.
Read the article that I have attached. Then ask why new investors only willing to come in AFTER 99.9% (and not 90% as earlier proposed) consolidation. Why new investors not coming in BEFORE consolidation.
Bro...i think there are different between share consolidation vs share capital reduction.
Share consolidation is more on combining the number of shares of one corporation, and share dilution is the vice versa. This is the management said that the share will be consolidated from 10 to 1....but the market cap remains the same. Hence, the price after consolidation will be around 65-70sen, if using current price for benchmarking.
While share capital reduction is more on balance sheet thingy. This is the one that the management said to be 99.99% reduction to offset part of the accumulated losses.
Capital reduction mainly when company in a critical situation of heavy losses until share price going down too low and close to worthless. Share consolidation sounds more positive and nothing negative happening to the company although both terms used for combining shares and making it less issued shares in the market.
Yes yes...share consolidation need to be done since they are going to raise new proceeds around RM300m thru right issue and RM200m for Subscription Shares that will dilute back the number of shares, from
* 4.14bil shares (before consolidation) to
* 4.14mil (after consolidation) to
* 1.16bil shares (after right issue)
* 1.66bil shares (after subscription share)
I see these are going to be more on positive move if the management is successfully execute the plan, plus the operation can be fully start as soon as possible. It’s like they are going to re-start the business from fresh.
Anyway, the ship is still burning. Don't recklessly jump in. Likely cap reduction before anything else. Hope not 100 into 1 n back to RM1.00. : ) They asked all creditors to take a 99% haircut esp. the aircraft manufacturers
