KUALA LUMPUR: NexG Bhd has appointed Datuk Chong Loong Men as its executive director, effective November 18, following formal approval by the company's board of directors.

Chong brings a wealth of regulatory, legal, and corporate experience to NexG, having previously served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) and as an officer at the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
He has also developed extensive legal practice in corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters, complemented by board experience across multiple public-listed companies.
NexG said his blend of regulatory insight and boardroom leadership positions him as a valuable asset to the company's strategic growth.
Chong's expertise is also expected to support regulatory compliance, stakeholder confidence, and the execution of key national projects.
