TOKYO: Mitsubishi Corp said on Wednesday it was considering options, including withdrawing from three offshore wind power projects in Japan's Chiba and Akita prefectures, in response to media reports a day earlier.

In February, Mitsubishi had said it was reviewing how to proceed with its Japan offshore wind farms given a "significantly changed" business environment, highlighting the challenges posed by increasing costs for such projects.
