According to Maybank IB, the surge in Oasis Home’s live commerce segment was mainly due to expanded product range, in addition to live broadcast channels and increased sales through third-party eCommerce marketplaces.
Quarterly dynamics show a healthy rebound into 4QFY25: revenue rose 56.4% qoq to RM20.3 million on livelier live-commerce activity. Gross profit rose modestly to RM8.3 million as gross margin eased to 41.0% due to tactical promotions on selected home and living products.
Oasis Home recorded a small net loss of RM208,000 in the final quarter of FY2025 due to one-off listing expenses. However, thanks to growth in its live e-commerce business, the company posted revenue of RM20.33 million during the same quarter.
Excluding the listing expenses, Oasis Home would have achieved a pre-tax profit of RM540,000 for the quarter.
