Tik tok tik tok tik tok...Just a friendly reminder before getting too excited about NATGATE's AI story: 1H26 revenue fell 36% YoY to RM3.49b, from RM5.44b. More importantly, profit attributable to shareholders collapsed from RM106.0m to RM11.4m. AI may be booming, but apparently the P&L didn't get the memo. No pun intended.

Q1 was particularly ugly...Q1FY26 recorded RM1.72b revenue but RM7.7m net loss. Gross profit fell to RM28.3m from RM101.1m previously. Management attributed the revenue decline mainly to lower Data Computing contributions. So don't confuse “AI demand is growing globally” with “NATGATE's quarterly earnings must grow.” They aren't the same thing.
