Some investment analysts, including Maybank Investment Bank (IB) and TA Securities, are recommending that their clients reject the offer simply because GENM is worth more than RM2.35. “Investors should not accept the VGO, in our view,” says Maybank IB, telling its clients in a research note to not accept the offer even though the price “appears a tad attractive”.
