strong prospects for growth updates from recent AGM - (1) The Group had capitalised on this trend through the development of AI-related hardware solutions, including an automated inline tester for AI data centres developed in collaboration with Teradyne. The system had already been deployed in the United States and Taiwan, with encouraging demand from leading AI chip manufacturers. (2) The Group is well positioned to ride the AI supercycle and advance its smart manufacturing initiatives, with strong prospects for growth in 2026 and beyond. (3) On the hardware side, the Group continued to advance SMT production in collaboration with partners such as ASMPT SMT Solutions, ITW EAE, ASM Assembly Systems (DEK), and Asscon. In addition, the Group expanded into the advanced test equipment segment through partnerships with leading brands such as Koh Young, Techvalley, Teradyne and Seica, positioning itself as a comprehensive solutions provider rather than merely an equipment supplier
finally marching towards where it should be :) lets keep an eye on its orderbook. SMT integration orderbook > 45mil will be really strong as this is a high margin segment. another potential positive surprise is the inline tester which has been deployed in US and Taiwan; seeing encouraging demand as highlighted in AGM.
chillax guys. risk mgmt and manage the expectations well first :) rm2 is a bit euphoric. however, I prefer bonus issue to address the liquidity situation first - if it is indeed a strong prospect for growth as indicated by the mgmt plus the capacity expansion from the new factory to be completed 2nd half of next year.
Finally... Thank you Mr. Market for sending it to where it should be :) >45mil orderbook for SMT integration segment will be necessary in order for it go higher from now on
The boss going all out (offensive mode) to improve and sustain provision of other services segment; will be eating into the pie of many other fabrication companies :o - On 5 June 2026, a new subsidiary, Veritex Precision Sdn Bhd with the intention to manufacturing, precision machining, fabrication, design and mechanical assembly of precision tooling, jigs, fixtures and customized engineering components for the electronic, semiconductor and other related high technology industries. The Company holds 70 ordinary shares, representing 70% of the issued share capital with the remaining 30% interest held by unrelated third party.
one step at a time. the new manufacturing floor will be ready by 2nd half of next year. new precision machining subsidiary, new segment Teradyne's inline tester, optics/photonics driving needs for newer SMT / SMT integration and high barrier to entry for other machine makers due to Cnergen's distribution rights :)
the last funds/insti move was 3mil shares at 0.50 followed by heavy transactions at 0.60, 0.70, 0.80 and 0.90 :) some would have got off the boat by now and waiting to buy back.
lol. most of the people here probably have tickets at the range of forties to fifties that bought the qr loss but higher orderbook at 80mil :) can afford to ride it through fy26 and going into fy27.
The good thing with Cnergen's report is the transparency in terms of orderbook, Nick. It allows shareholders to monitor the progress qtrly. As for the business, it is in a niche industry and advanced packaging will drive newer/enhanced capability for SMT machines/integration. Let's not forget the potential of teradyne's inline tester / ODM segment. One qtr at a time.
haha. I dont promote stocks but rather share opinions. If I were to promote it, I would probably use numbers/valuations with fair value per share estimates :) unfortunately, only analysts can issue tp and buy sell calls. as for cnergen, I am waiting for analyst to publish the details of the orderbook as I am interested what is the orderbook size for integration segment :)
every single US photonics stocks in my list went down yesterday night including photonics ETF while some of the US and EU stocks beaten down by AI rebounded strongly. short term headwind seems to be pointing to slow down. AI, DCs, photonics and chip stocks for these industry should be seeing selling pressure :)
you are welcome, t&s :) i will just continue to hold cnergen without adding position for now and will not hesitate to adjust further if market sentiment turns weak :)
AI and techs will be the key highlights again. Waiting for attendees from China - OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon are among the technology industry leaders expected to attend US President Donald Trump’s upcoming state dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping, POLITICO reported citing people in the know.
AI is in the agenda after all - HONG KONG (AP) — Asian shares mostly advanced Monday as investors monitor updates ahead of the expected meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping this week in Washington which could cover trade, artificial intelligence and geopolitics.
U.S. futures were higher, after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters following talks Sunday with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng in New York ahead of the two leaders’ meeting that the U.S. had “a very successful engagement” with the Chinese side. Technology stocks in Asia also moved higher on the AI boom even as American tech leaders called for a slowdown in AI development on safety concerns. South Korea’s Kospi rose 1.8% to 7,018.98. Samsung Electronics jumped 5%, while memory chipmaker SK Hynix climbed 1%. Taiwan’s Taiex was up 1.1%, with its leading AI chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., or TSMC, adding 0.6%. Hong Kong’s Heng Seng advanced 0.6% to 24,891.58. The Shanghai Composite index also gained 0.6% to 3,933.37.
US and Chinese officials have concluded talks in New York, with Washington proposing a new mechanism for sharing information about serious artificial intelligence threats. The talks, held ahead of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping later this week, ended on Sunday after about eight hours, with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent calling the discussions “very successful”.
buckle up the seat belts for incoming volatility judging from the tone/terminology used in Trump-Xi meeting this week and the timeline for key events seems to be aligned. "Busan Agreement" extended to 10th Jan 2027, Xi Jinping urged US to avoid the “Thucydides trap” - Greek historian definition for tensions that arise when an emerging power challenges the dominance of an established power, US midterm election in Nov - potentially Trump will flex his muscle to show that he is getting a better deal/trade with China and followed by G20 summit in Dec.
WASHINGTON, Sept 24 (Reuters) - The White House has asked OpenAI and Anthropic to hold new models from British testers until a US review, Politico reported on Thursday, citing a person familiar with the matter and a senior US administration official.
The White House wants to take steps to make sure US systems are secure before the models are shared with partners, according to the report.
The White House, Anthropic and OpenAI did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
The development comes as the White House weighs cybersecurity risks posed by increasingly capable AI models, following a series of incidents in which AI systems gained unauthorized access to real-world computer systems.
Australian officials disclosed on Wednesday that an OpenAI agent breached a government health data portal in June, gaining unauthorised access to files.
ooh boy. incoming volatility indeed - Donald Trump and Xi Jinping will meet two more times this year after a summit in Washington that was rich in pomp but failed to resolve tensions over US claims that China is not honouring its pledge on rare earth exports. The White House and the Chinese foreign ministry said the presidents would meet at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Shenzhen in November and at the G20 in Miami in December, according to separate statements released after Xi left Washington on Friday following a three-day state visit to the US. https://www.ft.com/content/bd99d372-d3d1-4972-a3fe-1bed8f71e14c?syn-25a6b1a6=1
