Thanks to Plabs for the interim dividend. Did not expect it :) On top of the dividend, shareholders would have noticed two more major activities in the report under notes A10 pg 8 - additions of industrial land and construction of 1 block of factory :)
Nice average you have there, Time and Space. Judging from Mr Bu's acquisitions/announcements, his bulk of purchase could be near to 0.195+/-0.005. Hence, prices at this range with volume would have been swept away by Mr. Bu.
I have no idea, Warrenky. He knows something that we don't know. I saw notes on industrial land acquisition and construction of 1 factory in the Plabs report. Sounded like expansion.
Perhaps Mr. Bu is eyeing the expansion plan for its manufacturing and trading business. Extracted these from the latest annual report - In December 2023, Osmosis has commenced construction an additional one block factory to cater for Osmofat production in Nilai. And recent land acquisition is to facilitate a seamless expansion of its trading business in the near future.
That's a good question and a tough one, T&S. Nothing mentioned about it. However, if you have been following the manufacturing segment, you will noticed that FY2023 revenue at 5.4M is the highest by far that I can recalled; at least over the last 5 years. Used to be hovering around plus minus 3M to less than 5M; FY2022 was at 2.8M. Additionally, you will also noticed that there are new markets added as part of risk mitigation for epidemics over the last two years - China, Egypt, and Belarus. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the manufacturing segment should be seeing growth again - new markets and available capacity :)
waiting for confirmation of growth in animal nutrition before deciding to add position again. Plabs net profit prior to pandemic/ToT was hovering between 700k to 1M per quarter averagely.
ok :) you have to sell some to get fried chicken. else, its just paper profit. Lol, no pun intended. Follow your own plans and I am sure you will do well.
2.45 will be interesting to watch for chartist and a rebound from the long term trendline support will be a good sign. Vice versa a weakness if it breaks below from technicality perspective. I will be happy to add at 2.50 if it is available.
no lah... i am not trading dollar stocks :) and, I am used to buying depressed stocks and holding it for some time. My current average is at 2.50 excluding dividend collected. Bought twice in the last 9 months; 2.45 and 2.60.
coming. and lots of other counters on offer too :) cherry pick whichever you like - beneficiary of lower interest rate, decent yield, beaten down irrationally, etc.
