I’m an investor, EV user and attended the MOU. I downlowded the AGMO EV app. These are my comments:
1) There are not much functions on the app, a very simple (can say my son also can do) and not like a SuperApp claimed by Agmo and Alibaba. U may download and u will 100% agree with me. Overly boosted! Very disappointed!
2) If u check on Google Playstore, there are only 100+ users downloaded the app though it has been launched 1 year ago. How can it be a SuperApp? Even my company normal app also got 5k+ downloads within 30 days
3) There are not much info on any EV ecosystem providers like the charging stations, insurance providers, community etc. I’m like a lone ranger in the app
4) There are many other established EV app like PlugShare, EV Rescue, ChargeMap and many more that can be easily found in AppStore and PlayStore that are much better than this app in terms of functions, providers, users and community.
5) Most importantly, as an investor (bought at RM0.70), I dont see how is this app can be monetized and make profit at least for next 5 years. I heard the management has spent millions on developing and promoting the app which is like a failing Grab P&L! (At least Grab got so many users lah)
6) The whole MOU and all the press releases are like a corporate show, that brings no actual meaning to EV users. I dont think the speakers on the stage have really downloaded the app and try out. Dont really know what did they talk about. Irrelevant!
7) I talked to many EV friends and communities, they all agreed with all the points above!
Honestly, I’m quite worried about my investment. I’m expecting this quarter will be bad for Agmo as no more MSC status and there are so many investments without much returns. Hope I’m wrong. Can we ask our KOL CEO to explain how and when can this EV App make profit for the company?
Better kerjaya at least now its price with history dividend trend yield 5.6% and it has been obtaining more projects with 4.5billion proj2on hand and coorporate with samsung malaysia too
why are u so worried about their EV app development when their core business function is still developing app for 3rd parties? Obviously, this segment is still infancy stage and I don't think the mgt expects any returns from this ev superapp in near term as well.
this counter is just a kosong company EV part they cant beat yinson u can see tnb pos shell berjaya and many other company they all partner with yinson
My son said he knows XML, but for an app with 100+ users, not many data, no need NoSQL DB lah, 1 or 2 servers is more than enough. Quite easy to setup :0
