A few things to share/clarify: 1) Serbak 14/6 said clearly they agree appoint EY in principal, means not yet appointed and they didn’t lie; 2) KPMG stopped their work because they found the issues are big and they requested independent review, but Serbak delay and did not appoint; 3) FIFO in bursa mean fast-in-fast-out, or playing contra lah; 4) I fully support what KPMG did to report SC which is definitely professionally should do; 5) Management reactions in handling the case is really shocking
Appointed EY ? If appointed mean sudah tapi like kanpa said is betul becuse agree appoint but also depending EY want the case or not unless itu EY tak takut busuk.....lol
Under Section 320 of the Act, auditors are required to report to the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and the exchange any cases that adversely affect to a material extent the financial position of the public listed company (PLC), or any breach of securities laws and rules of the exchange.
And if they do so, they will enjoy legal protection in their employment and also be protected from being sued by the PLC.
