**These steps might be outdated due to MCO**
9 business days (inclusive of 2 delivery days) to complete the warrant conversion.

Maturity = Expiration date, convert anytime before that.

1) Call the number on this site:
https://www.megacorp.com.my/
Receive email + form

2) Get a banker's check, recipient is "Dnex Warrants Accounts".
(Payment ex. 2000 warrants * RM0.5 = RM1000 payment)

3) Pay RM20 processing fee + print out the receipt.

4) Mail the 3 documents to the address listed in the form

The term 'maturity' date is actually misleading, because it actually means 'expiration' date

You can convert the warrants into mother shares anytime before then, but after the maturity/expiration date, you lose all of the money you paid for the warrants.

Hope this helps :)

@Jonathan, what is the cost for mothershare after convert from son? let’s say i don’t have mother share yet. will it be RM0.50? or follow the current cost?
Like · 3 years · translate
sss kl
@salmo the mothershare should be RM0.50 (exercise price) + the warrant price you bought.
1 Like · 3 years · translate
Jonathan Phang
Entry price + 0.5 (conversion price)
Let's say you bought at 0.35.
Then total cost = (0.35+0.5)* no. of shares
1 Like · 3 years · translate
yrag Gnoey
now mother ady .98, if my WD entry was .30, to convert, + .50 = total 80cent is my original cost, assuming after convert the mother price remain at .98, I would have earned extra 18cents per unit

instead of selling off the son now, which I only earn extra 5cents (now price is .35)

is that right?

Your profit shld be 5/30 {16.6%} or 18/80. {22.5%} ....the risk is after 2 weeks, we will not know what will be the mother share price.
Like · 3 years · translate

Exactly.
Converting warrants may be a few extra steps, but it's more profitable assuming that mother share price maintains its current price range (0.95-1.05) or even better, keeps going up (RM2+) after the conversion is complete.

Hi Jonathan, just to confirm my understanding, converting the warrant to the mother share only calculate base on our own warrant EP, the current price for the warrant doesn’t affect our cost of conversion am I right?
Like · 3 years · translate
Jonathan Phang
Yes, it's only dependent on your entry price for the warrant + exercise price (0.5).

Ex. If I bought 10k warrants at 0.32, my total cost:
10k*(0.32+0.5)= RM 8,200
And if mother share price is 1.00 when the conversion is complete, profit =
(1*10k) - (8200) = RM 1,800

(1800/8200) *100% = 21.95% gains

Got announcement private placement at RM0.7339 listing tomoro..... Will it affect the share price drop tomoro?
Like · 3 years · translate
Jonathan Phang
@Jacky
I have no idea, but i think there might be a temporary drop. My entry price wasn't that high, so it's not too much of a concern for me.

I believe this counter worth much more than RM1, a temporary drop won't matter much.

hi jonathan thanks firstly for this good informative post.
to get it straight,

say i bought at 0.305 × 10000 unit, means i need to top up (0.5-0.305) = RM 0.195 x 10000?
Like · 3 years · translate
Jonathan Phang
If you want to convert your warrants, you need to pay:
RM 0.5 * (number of shares)

Ex. RM 0.5 * (10,000 units) = RM 5,000 payment for warrant conversion.

The calculation you did was how much profit you get if you sold your warrants at RM 0.5

Like · 3 years · translate

I'm in the stock market to profit, not to be a "bag-holder" or lose money lol.

I invest using any method i see fit, as long as I'm earning money, because that's the whole point of trading/ investing.

Letting short-term fluctuations affect you shows that you either bought units at a high price or you just have no chill lol.

Chill out dude, and enjoy the DNeX ride, because this train is going places, it just needs time.

Around 8 weeks left, remember to convert your warrants before they expire on 30 July 2021.

The conversion needs at least 2 weeks to be completed. I'm not sure what will happen if you convert 1 week before expiration, so better be safe.

Also, stay safe all :)

Right now because warrants are being converted, share price is diluted, quite heavy, so can't fly yet.

If you have DNeX warrants, you might want to start converting soon.
Because warrant conversion needs 9 BUSINESS DAYS or so to be completed, which means around 2 weeks.

After the expiration date on 30 July 2021, the warrants you own (which you haven't converted) would be worth NOTHING.

i personally still own DNeX shares, and I think they've got great potential in Silterra. So it all depends on what your trading plans are. Everyone's different.
