First, I think fintec only suitable for short term players and long term investors, not for mid term, short term players should focus on the price before ex-date, as long as the company announce right issue, they need money and hence they will push up the price that they could; long term investors invest on its future, but I feel complicated about glove industry and also FOCUS which is currently overvalued. To be honest, I am short/mid term players, I will sell the shares no matter how and also I feel that there are too much of uncertainties entering into new market. However, it’s quite safe that fintec currently is undervalued so much that it have the potential to grow in the future. Also, from the RI (2014&2017), fintec share price have about 100%++ increment in short term after announcing RI, but soon it drop back to its original price (maybe after exdate, i don’t investigate much about the drop of the share price as I am not a long term player yah)
What I can recommended for short term players, it’s safer to set few target prices and sell in parts (reminder: the share price fluctuations will be quite high); for long term investors, I believe FOCUS will boost up further in the future, and also FINTEC GLOVE is only worth 160m but FOCUS worth more 1.1billion for fintec, so it will not cause going concern issue for fintec even that this proposal is failed, but fintec will have a bright future If this proposal is success, however, also beware of the habit of fintec management which like to raise equity ( I feel ok for the action of right issue and also icps but I don’t like esos from fintec, it’s too much and not transparency enough)
Again, the decision making is depending on you.
2014 Mar and 2017 Oct Right Issue implementations are not negatively affecting the price, instead share price was climbing up after few days. Some people worry just because others said it is bad, not out of their own investigation. And TQ very much for the 分析.
hwa yong, KGROUP announced RI on 27 May 2013, share price had a sharp jump after 1 week and a downward trend after EX date. Second RI announcement, 15 Mar 2017, share price was relatively stable until EX date where it had an upward trend. For FINTEC, share price jumped almost 12% right after RI announcement. Second announcement observed no significant change in price until the EX date where it was in upward trend. IMHO, based your buy-sell call on RI alone is highly inappropriate. There are many other factors need to be considered.
