Long term, yes it will be back to 0.80. For short term, we have to recognize the trend and facts about AIrAsia is not positive, even now in July still not back to normal operation.
So its results for April~June definitely bad (price drop) and then July/August will not be good but at least better since some flights already started.
The fact the company is still operating now, despite bad Q2, is a sign the company still survive. But we have to bear in mind there will be no dividend or low dividend in near future.
So, we have to be careful. Buy only if you intend to hold it long term. I sold all AA shares around 1.03. Now my guess is it will drop further to around 0.60, pure guessing.
The lowest closing price on 29/5 is 0.69, and after the latest bad QR released, the price gap down and closed at 0.705, it didn't even breakdown 0.69. that's mean there is a support at 0.69. If the price breakdown below 0.69, it will go down more further, or it will sideway at between 0.7-0.8 till it breakout 0.8 or above. so it need take a couple weeks or months.
Lowest should be in Mar which was about 0.5xx. In fact nobody really know why it went up back to 1.xx while it still suffer the most, perhaps everyone loves it because it really did Now Everyone Can Fly. It made me possible to go KL study and back to KK 20 years ago, and it still providing high quality service (though basic) at reasonable price. Best wishes to AA....
